Kimbery Machine Incorporated Adds Manufacturing Cell

Kimbery Machine Incorporated has once again expanded its manufacturing capacity with the addition of a CNC Vertical Machining Cell. Our new cell consists of two HAAS VF-2 and one HAAS VF-3 Vertical Machining Centers organized for quick tooling changes and super-efficient machining for large- and small-quantity production runs. “We installed our new manufacturing cell in response to the demand for increased flexibility in our production schedules,” explains Kary Laursen, president. “Cell-based manufacturing delivers value to our customers with shorter lead times, faster throughput, and more cost-effective pricing.” At Kimbery Machine Incorporated, we are committed to Lean Manufacturing throughout our organization, and precision machining cells are a crucial element in our ongoing effort to provide you with the optimum balance of pricing and performance.
